All credit to that other team (the one that doesn't exist) but I'm not going to depress myself worrying about them.

I'm an Arsenal fan as some on this site already know.I'm a season ticket holder and go to all home and many of the away games, including OT (see you there in Dec !).I've been watching Arsenal for over 30 years .This team of ours is the most exciting, breathtaking Arsenal side I've ever seen, however,I've also seen all the ups and downs that football can deliver.Yes,it's nice to see such praise from other supporters, even you lot
,and I do think we will probably take all before us this year BUT it doesn't mean we will.I couldn't have hoped in my wildest dreams for a start to the new season as this but to use the old cliche...it's a marathon not a sprint,so from bitter experience, over a season, things can go 'pear-shaped'.So after 8 matches,it's a bit premature to award us the title just yet.Another cliche....prizes are only handed out in May,not September.Having said that,Man Utd are poor this year so far,and I don't believe are as good as the team of 1999 .So, frankly,I don't fancy you for the title this year...I wouldn't underestimate the Scousers and I do rate Houllier as a manager. So should be an exciting campaign !!
