They've beaten Depor, Juventus and hard to beat Liverpool , top their own domestic league BUT you lot thought you were gonna just turn up !!! No matter what they got to the semis of the CL so they must have a pedigree of sorts.

Why is it that ANYONE who makes a point that criticises United in ANY way (even if it's constructive or the truth) ends up on the receiving end of abuse from you?

It seems to me that you dont think that people are entitled to an opinion, and if they express a critical one of Manchester United, you simply retort with your usual torrent of abuse.
You appear to think that anyone who has a bad word to say about United is a 'cockhead' (or words to that effect)...do you think Manchester United are above criticism?

Because most if not all the postings from rival fans are wind-ups or typically lead to such.

As for constructive criticism, I have taken it on the chin before - eg I agree that the defence needs reworking but there's a difference between suggesting changes be done to improve the defence compared to "Utd is shite and barthez is a clown" kind of comments. Such abusive comments deserve all the contempt hurled at the posters.

I don't know but most of the Manchester United players with the exception of the strikers and possibly the keeper were a little pedestrian in their pace during the first half. The fact that the goals were due to luck (own goal) and the stupidity of Ze Roberto (He didn't need to dive in on Van Nistelrooy since he was going nowhere) are testament to that sedentary pace of the Manchester United team.
