There's nothing to suggest City on Pep's worst ever run will suddenly produce at Anfield, a place they tend to win at once every decade or so.
Spurs never do the job on Liverpool that they do on City either.
But I hope you're right.
It was a weird one today, we all thought it'd be a comfy win, yet it took the usual sort of shenanigans (tight call going their way one end, pen the other) to see them through narrowly.
There's quite a few tough away games in the Premier League. The more obvious tough away games are away to the big 6, but how you handle going to places just outside of those teams like Newcastle , Villa, Brighton can go a long way into determining your season. Then there's team like Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham who can game raise and give you a right good game at home.
Liverpool have literally played the bottom 4, Utd and Arsenal as their away games. The Utd win because of the rivalry will always be deemed as a good win. That Arsenal game could have gone either way, but they'll see that as a very decent point.
I am comfortable enough to say that they have done very well getting the results they have, but still I'd like to see them in this tougher run coming up to give me more of a picture of where I see them.
Because I'm an Arsenal fan, I'm basically just trying to judge them just now by if I think Arsenal can catch them. If they get to Xmas still unscathed, I don't see anyone catching them, because they'll have proved themselves through tougher tests and came out the other end in tact (or of course Arsenal haven't been good enough to put a run together).
