Don't you just get more and more midfielders the younger the age groups get? I've a kid playing U-9s and the best player in every team always plays in central midfield, with no exceptions. I'd be surprised if any kid ends up at a professional club without having started off playing in midfield. Probably even goalkeepers!

That age group has good quantity of quality, around 5-6 players who I think will play at a good level but probably a bit short of "special" talents. Ethan Laird the right back is probably the best prospect. We also likely to sign that French lad Aliou Traore who's also a central midfielder.
