He's shite and all but surely should be buying first before they further reduce the squad numbers.

Get in! Nani gets to play against him three times.

Arsenal are meant to get stronger before they play City not weaker.

wonder why they werent in for Enrique
so they just have an injury prone Gibbs at LB with Vermalen being an option(which would be stupid considering he is their best defender)

How many fullback do Arse have left?

Eboue could play there, Clicy and now Traore all gone

Another one of Arsenal's fabulous Carling Cup kids who turns out to be a bit shit really.

QPR - hahahahahah

I understand they're hunting for bargains, and time is running out, but Traore, he has terrible positioning, and this is not based on last night, he was the same at Portsmouth.

This makes zero sense. Why would Arsenal sell and why would QPR buy such a shit player?

Negative plus negative equals positive?

traore is rubbish. Arsenal selling makes sense
I'm guessing they have a deal in place for a defender

And yesterday, what was up with that Jenkinson kid? Some no mark kid from League 1 telling an established first team player and England international to repeatedly 'feck off', despite Walcott being absolutely right about his positioning? Lack of respect.

I wonder how Jopub will react if Arsene doesn't bring any defenders in

And you know Wenger will claim that he had bid for this and that player but was turned down.

Tbf, I felt for Jenkinson, he was having a nightmare, he had 70000 people laughing at him, and then for his own teammate to chew him out publicly probably hurt his pride. Resulting in him yelling back at Walcott, not because he wasn't in the wrong, but because he was humiliated and in over his head, through no fault of his own.

Arshavin offered him no help, and he was playing League 1, only a matter of weeks ago, to then be thrust into a very poor Arsenal starting lineup against United at Old Trafford

I bet Arsene can't wait for next season..."well, we tried to sign him and him but they were only interested in playing in the Champions League". ;)

Didn't he went to Juventus on loan and played the whole season there? Still came back shite?

Only played 12 games for Juve and he had a couple of horror shows that I saw. He was almost a decent wide player for Portsmouth, but he's a shocking left back. Even still, there's no way they're not buying a fullback now.

I didn't feel sorry for Jenkinson at all. He's been handed the opportunity of a life time and fecks it up in spectacular style, whilst telling the player busting his guts trying to cover his arse to 'feck off'.

Remind me who is not playing Champions League this season. Liverpool or ARSENAL?

You think Walcott was busting his guts yesterday? I thought he left the kid (and other players) woefully exposed. And I don't think Jenkinson fecked up anything, he's just out of his depth at this moment in time. That's not his fault. He's only learning the game.

Also telling someone to feck off, whether or not you're a 'no mark' player from League One isn't really a problem in the general scheme of things. These things happen in the heat of the moment. If Walcott was genuinely offended then he's a bit of a fanny.

Walcott did bust his guts on that incident, sprinting 50 yards to cover for Jenkinson going walkabout.

Bizarre as it is, Walcott is one of Arsenal's senior players now, and you need a bit of respect from the new kids.

The surrealism keeps on coming...

Gibbs is already defensively suspect, most of us think they already needed a strong defensive fullback or two.

Surely, surely this means someone will come in...except if that were the case, why hasn't it happened yet?!

I know Arsenal is a selling club - but someone should tell Arsene that being a selling club doesn't involve trying to sell as many players as possible without replacing them

He is like the guy who plays FM as his rival team, sells the best players to try and relegate them.

Ended up on the bench, behind a bunch of Juventus left-backs who couldn't defend.

In theory, this makes sense, because he will be replaced. In reality, you can see Wenger sticking Vermaelen there.

This could be putting his chips down on Cahill, of course, even if it means putting their best centre-back at left-back - but does Wenger have a Plan B, in case Cahill doesn't arrive? Knowing Wenger, probably not, which means Miquel to fourth-choice centre-back.

He's crap as feck but at least he plays in a position they desperately need players in as they've already sold two who could play there. They will be left with Gibbs and no one else although they will probably sell Gibbs and everyone else as well.

Even if they bring in a replacement, doesn't Wenger realise you need squad players?!? Traore is a perfect Arsenal squad player, and he'll fetch next-to-no money...
