Is meant to be taking two tickets off me tomorrow for Wigan

He's not spoke to me in weeks though despite repeated PM's, a bit surprising he'd not be in touch given this was supposedly his first United game and he was travelling from Malta for it

Could a kindly mod check his IP and see if he really was posting from Malta?
 
It's hard enough to get tickets especially when you don't live in England. If I had flights I would of kindly took the tickets of your hands Brad.
 
His latest one suggests Bombay India, but he has several IP addresses, jumps around a fair bit including through a proxy. I wouldn't e-trust it Brad.
 
Hmm maybe I got him mixed up with someone else, he did say he was from India in the ticketing thread actually

Not sure what to do at this point, why the hell would he not get in contact? At the very worst pop into an internet cafe and reply to one of my messages!
 
Yeh it's ok he never claimed to be Maltese that's my mistake, he did say he was Indian

He was trying to go to the Villa game tonight according to his latter posts
 
What I absolutely don't want to do is feck the lad over if he's genuine

He's making it tricky to know that right now though!

I don't particularly want to get stung again either in fairness

There's been a good ten or so PM's back in forth before, he wanted the tickets way before hand, don't think he realised it was a season ticket card. I said we'd sort the precise details closer to the game (he knew he'd be meeting someone with the tickets in the days before or matchday), but he's not been on here for a week or so

He also asked me about tickets for the Wigan game - told me he was interested and would get back to me after his travel plans were confirmed - I didnt hear from him after that.
 
I've had a PM from someone from another forum saying they think he's legit

Problem is I'm not around tomorrow even if he does try and message me on here. Why the hell would you not log on once the week before your first game at OT where you're after a ticket?!

I'm gunna shift them to another person on here then. I hope to feck he was having it on now though
 
I've been blessed by getting tickets from guys on here whenever I can make it to Manchester. It's a sacred trust that means the world to people like me. I think we certainly should name and shame those who abuse the generosity of people on here with tickets as it's important to police it as best we can.

I'm still amazed that FS didn't pay you. I keep thinking that there must be more to the story because it seems so out of character. No idea what that might be other than something happened and he is now too embarrassed to come back and sort it out.

what im sorrier about is that a cousin of mine, oscar sonejee, got hold of a bunch of tickets for us all for free. the story is that he is the captain of the andorran national team, and the physio of andorra is the physio of wigan.

what im saying is that ive already gotten hold of tickets 2 days ago, but have been absolutely unable to contact you.

im really sorry for this. i left home fully expecting to use your tickets.

if you still have the tickets on you and will not be able to sell it, then i am willing to pay half the cost since i'm the one that put you in this spot.

In fact, I'm sitting in the upper north-west corner, so if you are/were unable to sell them then maybe ill still buy them from you and watch each half from different seats, just for the view. not an economical choice, but i dont want to leave you hanging.

btw, i just saw the game at the Reebok today but had to leave at HT. It was freezing, absolutely unbearable. Threw up outside the stadium. Returned to the hotel to see that the 2nd half was fantastic and the crowd went mental on Megson. I was sitting in the second row behind goal, and it was raining. will your seats be the same?

I think the biggest question I'd ask there is how he managed to take a picture of his tickets, with his name on them, in his hand, on December 15th, when he says there he only got them "2 days ago"?! I suspect he didn't see this thread and realise I'd discovered his twitter

Not impressed in the slightest. It's out there for people to know in future if they try to help this guy. Thankfully someone else on here has taken them tonight instead, so I'll forgo the generous offer of going halves with Arjwiz...
 
What happened with FeedingSeagulls, Brad? I was just reading about it today. Has he got in contact/paid yet?
 
You know how he looks now, find him before the match and give him a piece of your mind. You were voted Internet hardman right? - prove yourself that you can be a hardman on the streets as well. :p

he'll pay you half the cost despite the fact that you could have been out of pocket for trying to do him a favour, necks and jockeys bollixes come to mind............I would steer well clear of him in future

The other question is why he bought other tickets in a worse area for more money; and obviously hunted them out instead of getting two good tickets he was offered off you. That sounds a bit dodgy to me. Offering you halves was a poor call too, as you forked out full price and he was the one who didn't get in touch with you.

Shouldn't post someone's Twitter profile on here though. Not sure he'll want the entire caf to be able to identify him; and it's probably an infringement of sorts. Still, I understand your annoyance Bradley. It's fecking annoying when someone does you over on tickets; especially when they've expressedly got in touch with you about the ticket in the first place.

Poor show.
