Besides remeber squad numbers 12,5, 14,15,23,9 and one are likely to all be empty in june and those are first team numbers. Think about it. It must be an Omen now thatKenyon has said fergie will be a spend thrift

Can't have those shirts lying empty
The pattern has been to add just a few quality players each summer to maintain continuity. On the other hand its good business to take advantage of the low prices.
Of those players going, only Blanc could be considered as having been a real option for the team.
Fab will probably go. thats one.
A forward with some guile and quickness, that can make the difference in europe. Looks like Roni is favoured though he could be more interested.
wide midfield cover- LW especially but also RW- Quaresma
Kewell is another versatile attacking player, LW/FWD, he can put himself about but is a bit of a sulker too.
Escude sounds like a good move if he can also play RB as Weaste says, but I've only seen him as LB. BTW he has a contract to June '05.
Also if Mexes is available for 4mil we'd be crazy not to take him, he's going to be Blanc, Nesta class. Wenger is probably rubbing his palms at the prospect.
The first three- Goalkeeper, Ronaldinho and Quaresma are priorities, with Kewell, Escude and Mexes also qood value.
