Are there Any Aussies on This Forum?

Aussie Red Devil

Guest
I am Australian and I was wondering if any Australians come on!

Me as well, born and still live in Melbourne.

English grandparent however!

I`m an Aussie living and working in Japan. I was born in Ozland and have always loved English football, Aussie Rules football and the two rugby codes. But Manchester United is my religion!

hahah
is it true all you poms love neighbours

English but been here since last year. Love it but miss the aftermatch stuff at work. The presenters on Foxtel are crap. At least we get to see almost all the games. Me mates used to complain about Sky being the Man Utd show but this is far better.

Pom immigrant, been in Sydney since 1982. Family all from Manchester (dad went to Newton Heath Tech). Went to Lostock Primary in Stretford.
Can't wait to see an Asian "Super league" with a few Aussie teams in it.

Count me in as well.

Although, I've made a shameful effort of recent to be on this forum!

:(

Born in Manchester.
Moved here with parents in 1968.
Married a girl from Luton over here.
Been in Rockingham since we came here.

Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Lived in Melbourne half me life.

Though I'm scouse apparently.

Mancunian but now hold an Aussie passport. Been in Townsville (mostly) since 93. In the Middle East at the moment but Australia is now home.

Fair enough if you're manc born and raised. Don't these glory hunters with no Mancunian ties do yer nut in?

Eh bollocks for brains, would you like to elaborate on the above comment??

Can't be a real red unless you were conceived in the car park at OT while yer old man was pissed on Boddies and you went to school in salford and you've got all the Smiths CDs. Is that how it works.

Well, that'd help and all.

I live in Canada and the coverage here is better than back home (2 games every Sat), what is like in Oz- does the time difference mess things up. What is the time diff anyway between Aus and back home.

11 hours. The afternoon kick offs are at 2am down here, and it's a pain in the arse working the day after. We get more matches on tele here than they do in England though, which is a definite positive.

CD last nights game was on at 10-45 pm just perfect IMO. We will have 3 0r 4 live games on pay TV this weekend plus one on free- to - air.
The time difference ain't too bad at the start and end of the season but daylight saving fecks it up a bit.

Still I'll be able to watch us win the European Cup before going to work, which is a great start to the day. ;)

Surely you'll have retired by then? ;)

No. You just stay out of the sun or plaster sun cream on. I had a better tan when I lived in England. The hide of some of the older locals is very scary.

So Warrington is in Manchester is it? Tit.

I can only assume Garno is joking or has addled brains. If Manchester United supporters had always been confined to Manchester people then the club would NEVER have the funds that have enabled it to be the best and compete with the best.

Sounds like a rehash of the tired old, illogical and downright foolish argument started by some Manc with a chip on his shoulder earlier. According to his pea minded opinion, nobody has the right to support Manchester United apart from the Manc-born, even if United has always had great players who have come from Ireland, Scotland and Wales for starters.

Naturally folks in those places often supported MU because they were proud of their lads playing for the team. As for MU`s international support, tell me ONE player who has ever slagged off a foreign,non-Manchester born supporter.

They don`t and they won`t, as they know that MU`s international support (which is much older than the Treble period) has been instrumental in the powerhouse that the club has become today.
