This transfer rumour is too good not to share. Mainly because it's almost as though it's been created specifically to troll Arsenal fans. I especially love the way this 30 year old Barcelona cast-off is being portrayed as a replacement for Sanchez.

That's not even the best bit, though. The best bit is what he said when he signed for Barcelona a year ago, having been linked with a move to Arsenal:

"I believed I would sign for [Barcelona]. I honestly thought: 'If I play very well, I will end up signing for Barca. If I just play well, I will end up at Arsenal.'"

He is a stereotypical Arse signing. Like Perez he will be hailed as the next ceasar but that will quickly change.

Even going to Arsenal won't remedy missing out on Bernardo Silva from the Turk

I wouldn't pay much attention to the rumour mill atm, it's kitchen sink approach where every name is being thrown around
 
Well, he's a pretty great player and would be a more than decent replacement for Alexis. Quote is quite funny though, if legit.
 
He's a very very good player. Can play across front three and v good all rounder
 
Doesn't seem as good as he was at atletico when I see him for Barca.

No it didn't really work out very well for him, the long period of not playing after registering killed whatever momentum he had and then he has struggled to fit in to the starting 11/squad.
