Could anyone possibly recommend me some English bands that represent the same genre and sound just like Arctic Monkeys and The Kooks (whatever they're called)?

Kasabian are cool as feck.
Arctic Monkeys and the Kooks are fairly different, if you want Kooks then a fairly new band The Wombats are similar, if you want Arctic Monkeys try bands like Dirty Pretty Things, Fratellis, if your looking for indie at it's best then try Guillemots, and there's Maximo Park too, and not forgetting a nice Manc band by the name of I Am Kloot. There are tons.
The Frattellis are awesome. Try The Idlers as well.

The kooks are an awesome band.
Actually Naive is the only The Kooks' song I enjoy listening to that much, the rest is pretty fine but Naive is a different level.

The Fratellis are literally out of this world, great.
If you want an awesome Indie band, i highly reccommend The Rifles, honestly, they are a different class
