There is no spoon.
Three of the arcade high scores have suddenly been dominated again by a certain someone, was this done without cheating this time? :)

Yeah, sure it is ;)

Check the high scores out for Curveball, he came straight in with one effort and landed the new highest, full of shit if you ask me.

One effort, and absolutely smashed the top score too. I think we all know cheats have prospered on there for a while now though. You have to ask what the fecking point is?!

I think it's the fact that he's so blatant about it that pisses people off the most, I've just deleted his scores again and will continue to do so. If he wants to waste hours playing games on slowmo then I'll happily waste seconds deleting his scores.

I can't see a point, its pretty sad infact. Whats nearly as bad are the posts above almost trying to defend him.

Thats a genius...

This guy doesnt even need to try many times he just set the score at the first time

I think the high scores should be reset. Theres some cheating going on in Curveball me reckons.

Scores don't need resetting. Marcos' current high score is perfectly achievable with some practice so i dont see any reason for it to be reset, just ban the wanker(s) who keep trying to cheat their way up.

I'm informed by the lad in question that it wasn't his first attempt, he simply presses the 'back' button when he fails, to avoid it submitting the score

I just tried it on the copter, it just fecks up the next game you play doesn't work properly, so I'm still not convinced. And that still doesn't explain how he obliterated the top score, and a couple of others beside!

He's a cheater, that's how.

I'm not sure why everyone is getting so worked up about arcade scores on an internet discussion forum, mind.

If people stopped cheating I would have a good 7 cups by my name

Using cpu killer anyone can cheat, just tried it myself last night and it became boring as feck within a minute.

At least it isn't as crap as hexxagon... the game you can defeat in 6 moves. I was the first to do that on this forum by the way and I hold the record time for doing it....

Yet I'm still on page 10 of the high scores... :(

I spent quite a few tries doing it the long way and then started to notice all these high scores... Then I heard somebody mention it on the caf and went and did the same thing :D only had the damn trophy thing for an hour though!

Maybe I am naive, but how does one cheat on that game. I have played it a couple hundred times and can't get past level 8 and can't quite reach 30,000

Apparently from what I've gathered they use some sort of program that slows the computer down so it makes it easier to play the game.

Now why are you acting all innocent for? You're one of em' aren't you?

Out of interest for us non-newbies what tagline did he get?

Same here, Canuck. Can't get past level 8. Even with a wireless mouse.

What are we doing wrong?

My afraid my technical skills stop at being able to turn the computer on. lol

Accuracy bonus from serving, accuracy bonus from returning the ball, keeping the ball in play as long as possible when you get to about lvl8 helps. Best ive had doing this was 32000.

That one is feasible, the key is to finish the early rounds as quick as possible while picking up the super-curve and accuracy bonuses and as much of the 3000 time bonus as you can and then switching to a rallying game at around level 6 or 7 as trying the fancy stuff fecks you up when the computer oponent can return most of what you chuck it. I can get it to the edge of the 30,000 mark at level 8 with relative ease and usually feck up after that because I've got a shite mouse. I'd imagine with a decent mouse and possibly a slightly slower PC you could get it up around the high scores without needing to cheat.

Still don't buy Hargo's nonsense though as he's coming on and posting tops scores on 4 or 5 of the games one after the other, he's a cheating cnut and will keep having his high scores deleted.

This is how I found out what to do in Hexxagon... It doesn't work all the time though, I've only done it once...

Sorry if cheating isn't allowed to be shown but as you can see its not even cheating...

Yeah i dont buy his bollocks scores either.

I've been practicing hard at it, its quite fun but can be frustrating at times. What you said is what ive been doing pretty much, its just getting those bonuses in as much as possible, the accuracy ones after lvl6 are down to luck almost depending on how the balls bouncing :)
