Apple Logic Express

I have a highly legal copy and a Mac to put it on. Assuming I can install it Ok,

a) Is it easy for the non-professional to use, and
b) What other equipment would I need to record and mix instruments/vocals etc?

Anyone who says musical instruments is heading for a time out

If its highly legal you should have no problem to install it.

Never used it myself.

Its fairly straightforward Wibs. You will probably need a USB midi keyboard and depending on what type of Mike you use for vocals, you should be able to plug it into directly into your computer, or else if its a high end professional Mike, then you may need the services of an external mixer. You should be able to make music without vocals by using some of the virtual instruments inside Logic.
