It's Ours For Keeps
2 games against a very poor Hungarian team and the odds on favs for the drop from the Prem...

1 defeat...and a victory against the baggies once their skipper had walked..

And of course all the Keane fun and games...

Anything to worry about?

I'm sure we'd have been slated if we'd opened with a 1-0 win against West Brom...I'm obviously above such baiting tho.. ;)

Bet you're worried...for OGS if nothing else

nope,
we played bad and beat west Brom 1:0, arsenal aparently played brilliant and beat Brum by 2.
Advantage us id say.

Only difference between the game sis that Arsenal got a fluke early on and could relax. We didnt have such luck and had to work harder for the points.

I saw most of the Arse game...they should have scored far more..some inspired defending from the Brummies..

They could have gone up a gear at any stage if required....they look very good IMO

no.

admitadly we were a little rusty in our first two games (hungryies and WBA) but with a little more match practice/fitness all round the games could have easily been trashings for the oposition as both were shown mercy by our average finishing and good goalkeeping. But as we go further into the season the team will become tighter and they play will flow better.

as for KEANE .... <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> .... At the momment its a great position as he's fire is well and truely stoked and he played brilliantly on sat. The only thing that will effect him is if he is physically incapable of playing ie a ban, he or i don't give a feck about anything else i'm sure like law suits (which surely the profits from the book will cover) and paper talk etc.
;)

Yeah but you didn't..

There's no point in you describing what might have happened if the match had been totally different???

You're not worried..fine, that answers the question

Nope. On either count.

And I wouldn't have slated you if you'd opened with a 1-0 win against anyone - Chester for example.

I don't actually follow Liverpool's progress that much. I'd register on Koptalk if I did.

Well not everyone. Some people will never be happy.

There are aspects of our performance on Saturday that I'm not ecstatic about. But it's too early to panic, or to get excited.

No

We played quite well against WBA

And good to see we have such strength in depth to have players like Scholes and Ole to come of the bench and win the game for us

Still early days to worry yet.
Yes 1-0 aint convincing, but if we learnt anything from last season...3 pts is 3 pts ! Reagrdless what score you win, as long as you win.

we need to improve a hell of alot to be able to compete with arsenal..

but yes its too early....

i think we'll get a better indication in couple of months.

nothing to worried about!
2 games don't give an accurate picture of the squard capabilities.!

not worried....more concerned, this soap opra stuff has to end, back to business i say.
