It pulls off a pretty excellent rendition of R-Type I must say. Shame that I don't have a joystick, controlling the R-9 with the cursor keys becomes a little tricky on the later levels.

Aye, that thing, never tried it before, very good though - takes me back. R-Type was my favourite arcade machine, because it was one of the only ones I could beat on a single coin.

Looks really bad. I do have MAME but prefer kawaks cos it's smoother and more user friendly. I also have this model 2 emulator that allows me to play Virtua Striker. Now that's a top game..

I got a whole load of mame roms on my HDD, I used to play King of fighter everyday.
My friend modded his xbox and put mame on there.
Not R-type, newer fighting games like KOF 2003 etc.. somehow fighting games are more enjoyable on kawaks imo.
If You love R-type series, You guys should also play games like Project-X or Gradius.
