Interesting.

I won't read much into it because he said in an interview he would never play for Man Utd (not that Man Utd are interested I'd say as he needs to score more goals).

But with Leeds' finances the way they are who knows? PR said Smith would never be sold but no-one ever believes anything PR ever says.

Oh, I just remembered though...apparently his girlfriend is a Man Utd fan so that is probably why he was there.
 
i seem to remember an interview with him a couple of years ago saying he was big Man Utd fan
