Oh totally agree with that - The Bureau is a fantastic show, and superior to The Agency (which is great in itself). I just feel that I'd have been a bit bored if I watched the Bureau just after seeing The Agency, considering it's a very similar storyline for season 1. Maybe wait a year or 2 I'd say.

No it covers the first season, more or less, from memory (though in fairness I watched it like 10 years ago so I might be misremembering).

I agree with this. I've not watched The Bureau in 2-4 years and I was still a bored after the first episode of The Agency because its a completely remake. It took away any sort of suspense and excitement.

Thank you to whoever recommended The Capture on here. Just wrapped up both seasons and it was really good. Given the show came out in 5 years ago, it's got even more relevance today.

Ah, yeah, that's totally fair. It's been maybe 5 years since I've seen The Bureau I think. I agree that I wouldn't watch them that close together.

Do you like hatewatching rich people with problems? If so and shows like Succession appeal to you - not that these two are exactly similar - then yes. A lot of people really like it, and it has great ensemble casts and beautiful cinematography.

If no, it might be a miserable watch.
 
Not sure if I had already mentioned in here that I finally finished Adolescence - but what a trip and oh so relevant today especially. Even though the dad character and I are very different - I also could feel just about every ounce of his emotion and how I might at least have very similar thoughts or emotions in the moments presented on the show. I hope it wins a bunch of awards bc it's that .. visceral? Not sure what the best one word to describe it is.
 
Just finished first season of Succession. Incredible. Highly recommended to anyone, who like me had skipped it for whatever reason.

Yeah, great mix of drama and dark comedy. It’s amazing how they make you sympathize with the worst people on the planet. My personal favorite has to be Tom.

I’m a fan. Can see why certain people don’t like it, but it’s characters, social commentary, mild trashy content and rich people doing rich people things fits with what I want to watch.

If in doubt, give it a go. It’s not one of those boring slow shows.
 
Watching Mobland on Paramount+. It’s fecking amazing so far. Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, Paddy Considone. First two episodes directed by Guy Ritchie.

Gangland families in London, but every scene is a fecking cracker, and the soundtrack is fire, loads of The Prodigy. Only 3 episodes out here in the US but so far absolutely loving it.
 
1883 was very good - we watched that before Yellowstone, now realising we should probably watch 1923 before starting Yellowstone.
 
Really enjoying Letterkenny. The cast is good, the plot works and it is a nice easy watch.

Saw episode 1 yesterday after finishing This City is Ours. Gripping so far.
 
Just finished The Pitt and it instantly goes into my top 5 greatest ever shows

Absolutely brilliant

I can't be arsed with hospital dramas either

if they churn out three seasons and there's still a wank fest going on I guess I'll have a look
 
Anyone still watch Yellowjackets?

I fecking hate it but still watch it. The show has constantly gone down in quality after the first season. I don't care about any of the characters and want them go down; especially Shauna.
