Anyone play MAG?

I love this game but as a PS3 newbie I haven't got anyone one my miniscule friends list who plays this.

Ive played it a fair bit (LVL 31) but reckon it would be a lot better in a squad.

Any one interested?

I asked the same question a while back here.

I prefer to play tactically rather than run & gun and i also like to snipe/recon too but i've heard that this style of play is frowned upon and you get team-killed and stuff....so this put me off buying the game.

I considered it, but it is up against stiff competition. Playing with 250 other gamers is tempting, though.

I think it depends if your commanders have given you orders.

That's why a full squad (8 players) would be amazing.

I would say it hasn't any competition because there is no other shooter like it.

When it is played the way it is meant to be its fantastic.

I'm all for immersive gameplay with a chain of command directing the operation in military games but nobody is going to tell me what type of way i'm going to play and whether i can be a sniper or not.

Sure, it's probably great with a full squad of mates but how often would you have everyone online at the same time? More often than not you'd be playing with the general public and if someone is going to try to dictate my gameplay style just because they 'outrank' me and TK me if i don't follow suit then i'd rather not waste the cash and stick to BC2.
