Anyone know anything about this kid?

You mean Noe Baba? He's meant to be rather good, but only things I've heard have been off twitter. Cameroon-Irish player

Having a player called Noe Baba must be a tabloid-journalists dream

I can imagine quite a few cheesy headlines if he makes it

It was reported we had an agreement with him before xmas. Hes been captain of our underage teams etc, here´s the article...........

Manchester United look set to beat Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to sign Ireland U-16 captain Noe Baba. Baba was born in Cameroon and moved to Ireland with his family in 2002. He showed his talents form an early age and was playing U-14 football at the age of 11. Now age15 he has been watched by United for the past 3 years and even went to Brazil as a guest of United to play in a U-17 tournament. Baba is considered the most promising young players in Ireland. He will travel to Portugal next week to captain Ireland U-16 and should join united for the start of next season when he turns 16. Baba is a versatile player who can play CB, DM or CM. Even at just 15 he possess great physical attributes, He is a well built powerful player and will only get stronger with age.

Separately i also heard Robbie Brady´s little brother is meant to be signing in the summer

seen various clips of him. i think he was at the Milk Cup last year as well. he's very well built and one of the stars of that level for Ireland, but that physicality is what makes him stand out at this age.

He supports Liverpool from what I can remember.

They were getting excited about signing him, either because of the fact he supports them or he had a trial there.

Celtic are set to beat Manchester United for youngster Noe Baba.

The Republic of Ireland Under-17 skipper was strongly linked with the Reds after travelling with the club on a trip to Brazil earlier this year.

But Castlebar Celtic's Noel Coll told the Mayo News: "We're still in talks with Celtic but no deal has been agreed so far. He was in talks with the likes of Arsenal and Man United and he is in talks with Celtic. It seems that is where he'll be going."

Fulham have beaten Manchester United to the signing of Cameroon-born sensation Noe Baba, Goal.com can reveal.

Baba, who plays for Castlebar Celtic in County Mayo, has already passed a Fulham medical and agreed a contract that will run from the turn of the year.

A fee, believed to be €160,000 has been rubber-stamped between the two clubs after Fulham outflanked a host of other clubs interested in the youngster, led by United.

Baba was born in Cameroon but moved to Ireland with his family when he was a boy and became the first African player to captain an Irish age-group team when he led the Under-17s.

The teenager, who turned 16 in August, has progressed rapidly through the ranks and was drafted into the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad last month, making three full appearances for Paul Doolin’s side.

He is highly regarded on both sides of the Irish Sea for his versatility and aptitude. Baba has been frequently used at centre-half but is expected to eventually be deployed as a full-back or midfield anchorman.

The deal is regarded as a coup for Fulham, who moved quickly to complete the transfer in the face of strong competition from a string of clubs, including United, Sunderland and Celtic.

We've been signing him since April! Don't Fulham understand dibs?

When he was a boy? Hmm. Possibly the first transgender pro?

fits in perfectly at Fulham. always scraping the barrel with non-HG imports. 1st team is embarassing. almost as bad as Wigan.
