Anyone into Tech House and "The Wire" Tv series?

A mate of mine just made a podcast which he describes as:

a tech house set sprinkled with dialogue samples from the outstanding HBO TV series “The Wire."

I think it's rather good but then I would say that.

Never got into tech house, i found it a bit dull and a very trainspotterish scene. I prefer minimal.
