What is our chance of this.

Never say never
but i don't think we'll win the league. If we had been better in the early part of the season we'd be well ahead of the Arse by now. but hey, it makes for an interesting 2nd half of the season

The treble was impossible, you know :D

still quite early to throw in the towel for the league, if by any chance the arse lost to the dippers and we beat them at highbury (quite tough tbh), then we be top! :D

But we have to start stocking up our away wins though, starting with WBA this saturday.
:)

And if Arsenal had a better early part of the season the race would be for second. I figure Manchester United will get one of the four, but will be hard pressed to get two, although the Champions League is still wide open.

You are? Don't you mean "former champions?" If I recall correctly, last years' results were:
Champions League
Real Madrid 2--Bayer Leverkusen 1
FA Cup
Arsenal 2--Chelsea 0
Worthington Cup
Blackburn 2--Tottenham 1
And Premier League
1)Arsenal
2) Liverpool

Not only were you not Champions, but Manchester United didn't make the finals of any of the competitions.

Nah--you still get to chant total numbers of league championships 9the domination of the 1990's)and FA Cup totals (against me Gooners) and bring up the unprecedented REAL treble of 1999, I just get tired of some of your younger, more emotional and impressionable youth acting as if no one else wins. A gentle reminder that several other teams have hoisted hardware (or tupperware) in the recent past.

i cant believe some of you on here dont believe we can win the championship

we might not

but we certainly can!

we are manchester united, weve been in worse positions and remember arsenal havent retained the title since about 1930 summit so they will be worried an all.

you certainly sounded like a 12 year old, obviously, most on here are not the younger ones in comparison!!! Mental age in any sensible discussion counts more here!!

Any red will never get tired of reciting our total domination of the 1990s as League Champion and FA Cup, the unprecedented treble in 1999. That doesnt mean we are complacent, but quite the contrary, we ask for more, we demand more and set high standard and hope for the best. It's not over until it's over. United is United and the never say die attitude is our motto, that's how we won in the past. The players havent given up and so shouldnt the Supporters.

In any event, we are supporters through and through, and through thick and thin, End of!

If you sure the Arse will win it and we won't get second, who will??

I'd imagine we'd win about 2 trophies.

League:

We're not out of it, that's for sure.

League Cup:

Tough, but if the players want it, we'll get it.

CL:

Wide wide open IMO. If we get through the second phase then it'll come down to who play better on the day in the knockout stages.

FA Cup:

Home draws and easy away draws (like at anfield for example) permitting there isn't really anyone who can stop us IMO (we have already beaten PooShit and Arse, so there's no longer any jinx against us with any other team - correct me if i'm wrong).

So overall, we can come out with 1 trophy, none at all, or even with all 4. We're still in every competition and we're not looking as weak as we did early in the season.

Yes we've beat the Liverpool and Arsenal, but this season, United jinx was more with the supposedly 'lesser' teams,(Bolton, Blackburn, etc).
Hope I'm wrong though, but I don't think we would win the FA Cup this season.

What I actually said was that Manchester United would win one of the CL, EPL, FA Cup, or Worthington Cup, but would be hard pressed to win 2 of the awards--there was no mention as to what place you'd finish in the League.

Last seasons ancient history now, in the 97-98 season we went trophy-less, only to have the best one in our history the following year
