Well ,it just fecking hurts me.. let Arsenal win the title at OT..... even though u know they deserved the title…

I agree, I'm already looking forward to next year. Like posted elsewhere, the pain of the loss will fire us up.

aye..but we've been pretty consistent over the last 11 years.. ;)

What good is the consistency of the past???

Even when we lost the league in 95 and 98, we'd still played pretty good stuff and it was close. We never had the sloppiness of this season. This year we have more to put right than other years.

If we had won the title this season imagine the complacency next season. The mentality would've been "who cares--even with 8 losses and poor defending we won the title <img src="graemlins/yawn.gif" border="0" alt="[Yawn]" /> ".

was it really that close when Arsenal won the league in 98? i don't think so, they blew us away in the last few weeks of that campaign..


bottomline: we've won the league THREE years on trot...its highly improbable that we'd retain it every year and no club has won it FOUR years in a row... Iam sure we'll be back next season.. however, i'd like us to sign a quality CB and another young striker..
