Anybody ever been an extra in a movie?

I was in that Al Pacino movie 'Cruising', they didn't pay us anything but I got a pair of Pacino's knickers. He was a dirty bugger

i was going to be an extra in silence of the lambs, but i got fed up, told the director to 'bite me' and left...

i'll get my coat...

Yes, but the movies have all been shite..

My mate is currently waiting to be an extra in Pinksville (or something like that, Oliver Stone's new movie)

I've been in a restaurant with Kevin and Sally from Corrie...(in an actually scene)

My mate is regularly an extra in Emmerdale. If you ever see the postman, that's 'im. My mate.

And the bird who was married to that ginger cnut in Corrie (think he was called Tommy), she goes to my local Tesco.

Beat that cnuts

Is this you trying to get more links to Hayden Panettiere Lizard?? If so i fear you may be left disappointed

The guy who used to go out with that ol' zippy herself janice (I think his name was Dennis, he used to ride a bike) shops in my local waitrose

yeah and if you get in a good movie it would be incredibly cool, i know someone who was an orc in the Lord of the Rings and another who was in the wierd cave rave thing in the Matrix Reloaded, but that doesn't count as it was awful.

i knew a guy at school who was a regular extra on neighbours. he played the part of a student at school.

Michael Collins

I was an extra in this when i was younger during school holidays, think i can just see myself in one scene of the film , the scene in which Dev (Alan Rickman) is complaining about the treaty for anyone who knows the film but not in the below trailer.

Got to meet Alan Rikman and Julia Roberts too, she was lovely

Kids from our school in Prestwich were always used in Coronation Street and films and mini-series filmed in and around Manchester.
I used to see that Jane Danson about all the time as she was mates with people I knew.

I played a footy fan in a Swedish movie. I got paid £50 for singing my local team's chants a couple of hours. Not bad.

An ex girlfriend of mine was in the Commitments.

There is a nice close up of her in the last club scence

A few of my mates were extras in Flags of our Father. I only know about one who was seen, he was on a stretcher in some scene.

He did a lot of scenes, because hes a tall guy. Running between explosions, firing guns and having your guts out.

A friend of mine is working on the film set. He said the most impressive actor was Kevin Spacey. The best looking chick he met and fell in love with was Charlize Theron (she was so sexy it gave him the creeps). Right now he is working on that new Tom Cruise movie in Berlin. He said there are two scientology tents on the film set full of people and Cruise`s security is annoying as hell. Real freaks!

One of my cousins was a bad guy with a gun in Die Hard II, which was actually filmed at Stapelton Airport in Denver even though the story takes place at Dulles in DC. He was killed by John McClaine in the scene where they are fighting in the unfinished terminal

My cousin was an extra in Ballykissangel

"Störst av allt". and I didn't sing Just idag är jag stark. Kenta is a legend though;)

I've seen that film and I even remember the scene haha. Yeah Kenta is a legend - no point denying that. Dom kallar oss mods has to be one of the few truly great Swedish films.

Being an extra is actually quite a shit job. You sit around for 12 hours or so and can't do much. You do get free food though, that helps.

I'm pretty sure I ended up being an extra in both of the movies I've worked on(whilst doing my real job on set).
