Any New Tv Series?

After watching all seasons of Prison Break, Dexter and The Mentalist; im looking for something new to watch in a similar vein to these three shows, whilst waiting for the next season of Dexter to come out.


Any suggestions?

I've watched a couple of episodes of 24 and House, but wasn't too enamoured.
 
You ever seen The Wire? I know everyone always recommends it but if I had to recommend one show that would be it.

The Wire, the Shield, Sopranos, BSG. 4 epic shows.

And in the vein of Prison Break, watch Harpers Island. Its only a one series show, but the final two episodes are tonight (in the US) so you could pretty much watch the whole thing when you download it, if you do.

Jericho is really good, theres only 2 series of it, first series is 22 episodes i think, 2nd series is about 7 episodes
 
downloading a show called leverage .. no idea how it is .. saw the torrent for season 1

anyone seen it ?
 
If you haven't seen the entire series of Rescue Me... it's a must see.

By far, the best show in years.


If you are asking for something 'new', Royal Pains... brain candy, doesn't look at that impressive from the start, but it's ok.
 
Jericho is a good shout. Such a real shame it was cancelled. The whole Allied States of America was so intriguing and you could tell they rushed the end of Season 2 just to give us some closure. But still.... :(
 
Jgray is right, Lie to Me was quite good.
 
The Sopranos, absolutely brilliant show.

I'm also a huge fan of The West Wing but it's not for everyone.
 
Californication. How I Met Your Mother. The Office. Entourage. Chuck.

Those are the only ones I can think of that haven't been mentioned yet.

I thought it got a bit shit after season 3. First 3 seasons were great though.
 
Recently watched and enjoyed - It's Always Sunny In Philly, John Adams, Breaking Bad, Rome and Damages.
 
I found John Adams a bit tedious, although it was good, I think they could have done a far better job. Apparently the book that it is based upon is ridiculously good.
 
Mad Men is a very good show, certainly worth a watch. Good call.

I've been watching that as well. Brilliant show, i hope it's not just one of those American tv shows that lasts one series and then gets cancelled.
 
New season starts tomorrow if i'm not mistaken. Can't wait!
 
It does uae, I can't fecking wait!!! A new episode of True Blood as well!
 
Yeah that was a good episode. My favorite episode is when they go to Joshua Tree and trip out on mushrooms, there were some other good ones too. I hope Season 6 is great, I have to say after Seasons 1 and 2, the others have been very good but not up to that unreal level of the first two.
 
I really should get round to watching True Blood. I've only watched the first 3 episodes of Season 1. Also need to get through Fringe.
 
Fringe was pretty good from what I have watched, but I havent seen some of the later episodes. I wonder how the show goes

I saw the first episode, it was okay but I didn't follow up on the series.

True Blood is very good

I'm trying to decide to watch next after finishing Breaking Bad. Probably between Fringe and Dollhouse.

I'm filling with Reaper at the moment, which has greatly improved with the addition of

I watched the first season of Dollhouse. Was ok. Got better as it went along. Seen the first episode of Fringe which looks like it could be better than Dollhouse.

Gave up on Reaper in the first season.
