To prevent forum meltdown should we win or lose?

Granted, the majority will be down the pub but I'll probably fancy coming on the caf at some point to get some reaction and create some kneejerk threads ;)

So you'd happily block fellow reds from viewing the boards on the day we might win the league?

Nope, but I want to block ABUs crashing the server.

Unfortunatly that can't be done so how about you all let Niall run the site and we all get back to posting.

Would be nice in the shortrun for us caf regs
but the caf would lose money made from adverts plus it might have the effect of discouraging people from coming here later on

I'm told that the first thing the team do when they win and get back to the dressing room is to log on to the caf to see our reaction. Wouldn't want to spoil that now, would you.

some poster have short memories that they were once newbies at one point.

Newbies are members not guests, your point is redundant.

Having said that, the idea of banning guests on potentially the biggest day of the season, when potentially the most amount of people will be viewing the site, thus increasing more income from advertisements, is equally redundant.

Stupid idea no matter how annoying.

Guests, naturally, are very important for Niall.

Didn't consider the advertising aspect of it.

Fair point.

Or at work like some of us!

They won't be a newbie if they never see the site as guess right?

He's talking about banning guests not newbies, which won't happen anyway. Newbies are members like us, so if some action were to be taken against guests, it wouldn't effect the newbies either.

I wasn't here straight away but it wasn't even that bad when I came on. Slower than normal but nothing to moan about.

And nice to see the Champions! banner out again.
