Proving he is a hard worker and willing to adapt. Be a good asset for Amorim right now
It’s just the price tag. Hard grafting squad player and can play a few roles, you can see he actually cares as well from his reactions.Really good impact again. Not convinced he is as bad as people make him out to be.

I feel it’s purely confidence. He’s been ridiculed for ages and had some off field stuff too obviously. I think there is a player in there and always have. If Amorim can get more from him than great. He most certainly isnt but his end product has been poor after a decent start at the club. At right wingback you'll often take a few good passes and a dribble making some progress even if the player doesnt set up or score a goal. He's showing he can do that. Far more dangerous than for Dalot on the left and felt a little bit more dangerous than Mazraroui who is obviously much better defensively and had some decent pieces going forward
Give him a run as RWB. Let him and Amad form a partnership.
I disagree. I think having them 2 who are similar in the fact there both left footers could work and it would confuse the opposition players as they can rotate positions which is always hard to mark.I dont think that will work. Both are cutting inside which would leave the whole right flank just empty. Sure you could give Antony the order to stay wide but that isnt exactly causing much danger
I don't get this rationale or that he hasn't been as bad as people think ...if he cost 18m like amad it might be a different narrative. it is a real shame that fans blame players for their price tag. i can't even imagine the venom if rashford wasn't free
Still, for the last several games in a row, what we see is Antony is coming off the bench as an RWB and adds value. He is by no means terrible there, he puts effort, and at least he is demonstrating to the manager (and, in fact, also to us) that he wants to have a role in this new journey.Antony cost £80m and was absolutely shite until recently. You don't pay that sort of money for an average winger or unproven wing back. Absolutely the club and EtH's fault, but Antony's lack of output and that stupid hop he likes to do is absolutely on him.
