After getting up at 7am and driving down to the british ex-servicemans club in vancouver to watch this game live, i am left wishing i never bothered.

This was another terrible performance against bottom of the table w.ham, we look disjointed, unimaginative, and the players dont appear to have the pride and passion that is expected when playing for Manchester United.

Veron, again was average at best, giggs was poor, constantly taking the ball one touch to many instead of releasing it, thus always running into brick walls.

Who will save us? 30-something-hope-my-hip-gets-better roy keane? not-had-a-decent-game-in-six-months David Beckham? or maybe i'll-do-the-grunt-work Nicky Butt? do we really believe that any of these players are going to bring us up to the level of arsenal for seasons to come?
Our football is not even entertaining anymore, we look more like an 80's wimbledon out there - except without the fight they had.

This is one of the worst Manchester United teams i have seen in 20 years. I suspect fergusons loyalty to some players is starting to wear thin, there could be a major axing coming soon.

I hope.

What if the players themselves are confused about how they should be playing?

Then we should also axe this south american coach we have brought on-board. What the feck does a south american know about british football?

The players probably are confused, but there's no excusing the distinct lack of passion that is currently being displayed.

This teams reached the end of the line, time to rebuild.

Agree with your conclusions, but I think having Keane Butt and Beckham back would make a big difference, though not enough to win the title.

Someone else had put it like this:
six consecutive crap teams played, 6 points.
Sadly, that says enough, feck early season excuses.

-Injury
-lost of passion
-Players being played out of position
-A formation that doesn't make sense in the EPL,specially when we are playing at home
-In form players being ditched, while others are being played "out of loyalty"
-Techinal changes NOT being brought during a match when it's so needed

Apart from injury to players, SAF has control over all the other factors. At the end of the day, he should be the first one to take credit for a good performance as he should take responsibility for a bad one.

you are probably right, but i dont think its that complicated a matter to fix - rebuild the team.

If alex ferguson landed in the united job today after arriving from another planet, knowing nothing about the current squad, i think heads would be rolling left, right and centre, however, as it stands player loyalties and price tags are colouring his desisions.

Prediction- fergie to retire at the end of the season.

Or vice versa perhaps?
