Read Tribal Football's site today and they reported that United's target Djibril Cisse wants to play for Arsenal instead of United because of the strong French influence.

That's why half your team is linked with Real every Summer is it? Also, playing for a club who have never won the big one doesn't strike me as being too ambitious... <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />
Not surprising, with one or two notable exceptions (Cantona because he thought the French FA was shit) they seem to want to be near their mummies at home! Next best thing, Wenger - In loco Gallis parentis! - 'look after me uncle Arsene, give me loads of Euros (Francs?), A trophy every 4 years and speak French!'
