Isn't she a 6 year old, who was just annoying. Can't believe people are buying THAT many copies of her single just because she's a good (not great for her age) singer with the "cute" appeal. God I feel sick.

fecking hell. I suppose cute appeal is better than sex appeal for young kids. Her voice isn't even that great. For a six year old, yes, but compared to other singers then it isn't at all.

Compared to other six year olds you mean? You can't really compare her unfavourably to someone 10 years older.

Well, I can compare her voice to people ten (or more) years older, in the sense that that's who she's competing with in the charts. And when compared to her rivals in the charts she's not as good as some of them, and yet she's getting there because of her "cute" appeal.

Having said that, though, I'm well aware that a lot of bands nowadays get where they are purely because of sex appeal (Girls Aloud case in point), and in that sense it's a lot better. Young kids seeing other "cute" young kids and being inspired by them is far better than young kids seeing slutty twenty-somethings and being inspired.
