Former Utd goalkeeper Andy Goram has died after a short battle with cancer,

As much as I didn’t like him as a human being and all what he believed in, I wouldn’t have wished him that horrible disease and I hope his family and friends are doing the best they can at this very sad time.

Can honestly say unfortunately, the absolute best Goalkeeper there has ever been, in my honest opinion.

Not his biggest fan but sad he’s dead.

Condolences to his family and friends. Best Scottish keeper of all time. The amount of times he saved what would have been certain goals, unbelievable.

He only actually played two games, and was subbed in both of them. I was at the match v Coventry in April 2001, good game actually, 2-2 at half time, Gorman was subbed in 67th minute, replaced by RVDG, United went on to win game 4-2, and Arsenal kicked off later that day, and lost, so United were champions, with 5 games to spare, happy days. I also had a bet on 4-2 at 66-1, so my pound made me £66. The biggest thrill for me was that I was in the directors box for the match, just behind Bobby Charlton, and at the end of the game I met him in the directors lounge, and had a chat with him, lovely man, so sad that he now has dementia.

To this day I still don’t know how he got to it.:o

My granny always told me if nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.
