An administrative error on the part of Manchester United has left new signing Andreas Pereira unable to play competitive football until next season.
Voetbal International claims documents from United detailing Pereira's housing and host family failed to be lodged in time to FIFA.
As a consequence, his release from PSV Eindhoven cannot now be secured until the transfer market reopens at the end of the season.
Nevertherless, Pereira is still able to train at United and play in friendlies for the club.
