I find it really weird how afros have this 'comedy' value to lots of people. I think they look pretty cool, as do lots of hairstyles, but I genuinely cannot understand what's 'funny' about them.
It's just a lot of hair, I guess. I figure that it has something to do with the preconception that when you get a huge electric shock or some other nutty professor style chemical reaction foisted upon you, your hair will look like that, hence the laughs.
Fro's are cool, though. Needs a comb in it, though.
