My postmortem into the England cricket team began at least 2 weeks ago! I think it's fairly simple though. There were horrific errors in selection, there were key injuries to vital players in the England side, several players with little cricket or very poor form coming into the series, poor application and mental fortitude, refusing to accept our mistakes previously and learning from them as the series progressed, but most significant of all - this Australian team is just a lot better than ours.
