It was in the SA qualifiers for the World Cup. Even prior to this match Argies were going through a bad patch. Both had earlier played a cracker when they met previously in the Copa America with Argies winning 3-2.

5-0! At home. Bad patch or not, that is amazing. Further, they didn't play all that badly.... they were just destroyed.

I believe the WCQ game held in Columbia was also won by the Colombians.
