In terms of striker options, think he deserves his own thread.
Still only 22, has had great success at youth level, overcome adversity from a big injury at Lyon when breaking throuugh, showed mental strength to then leave Lyon not getting games when back to then establish himself at Nice.
Good pace, fantastic technique, creative and aware of what is around him, good finisher and a transfer fee of probably around £40-45m which is cheaper than other big strikers we are being linked with.
Only negatives are he has been out on the left or drifts there for Nice as one of two strikers....but he was very much a striker in his youth days, so feel he can adapt back to playing there. Strength or aerial presence in the box also maybe not the best.
He does remind me a little of Benzema without the strength or arial ability and also with his playing and drifting out wide, with his technique, not two footed but there is an ideal Greenwood replacement for me.
Sadly not seen any links of him to us, have seen a fair few recently with Liverpool (please no) and Arsenal too.
Forgetting the unlikely purchases of Haaland or expensive one of Kane. All the other names I am seeing like Isaak, Nunez, Osimhen for example, personally in terms of the rebuild we need, the potential prices of these options, the way we may look to play and the ability ceiling....he would be my choice, to be fair I have followed him for years though and not seen so much of the other strikers bar Isaak
