It's officially Simon's last season before he fecks off to bring X-Factor to the States. Also, no more Paula Abdul.

Last night, in a Man United connection, we had Victoria Beckham as a guest judge. She was all right, if a bit skeletal and plastic.

It was a blah premiere, no real freaks or standouts. And I think viewership is down this year.
