was very good for a movie based on a true story. I'd definitely recommend it. Found a good torrent for it too btw

this must be the 4th thread for this movie and I'll say it for the fourth time. Shite dialogues, sub-plots that lead to nothing, some really crappy direction from a normally brilliant director. The scene where Washington shoots the guy on the street was laughable.
Brilliant show. One of the greatest compliment a movie can get is that no scene is a waste of screen time. However, if you expect action, you would be dissapointed and the last part of the movie is a bit subdued.

Extremely cheesy build up to the scene with him lecturing his brother and cousins about being honest and hardworking (take the line and put it any other context and you'd have to put the word 'moral' in to it) before walking out and shooting a man in the middle of the road. Why couldn't he just have said something along the lines of how dirty his line of work was? The director was looking to score points with an impact scene and failed miserably imo.
thing is, it wasnt just A MAN that he shot was it?
