'tis a silly place
I have just started using this service. Miles better than Itunes imo.

Songs and albums are cheaper, in 256 kbps mp3 format, and aren't DRM protected. And it includes album art files. fecking beat that Itunes!

The labels are desperate to break iTunes market domination so they can stop Steve Jobs dictating the terms to them.

Most songs are 89 cents, with albums at $5.99-8.99. The songs are in higher quality format, and not restricted by DRM. Of course it's not called iAmazon or whatever and doesn't have a smooth silver interface so it won't be as popular as iTunes!

hate iTunes and never use it

Ditto, Quicktime can get to feck.

I can't justify paying for a digital download, never have. I download illegaly and if I like I buy the CD, can't say fairer than that, try before you buy imo.
