I really don't think it's that far off the mark at all. I have tried that smash in the chopper grip many times before, and the spin that is generated is insane. For someone to be able to control that in such a way as to pass one of the best players in the world, and hit it within the court is just madness.
Unbelievable shot.

does anyone remember that insane shot by Federer also against Roddick in this year's Aus open semis? I think it was in the second set. I don't know enough tennis technical jargon to describe it.
