Just reading Football, Bloody Hell by Patrick Barclay and about the 1991 European Cup Winners Cup win over Barca. Why don't we sing that song more?

De du de du de du de du.

I was always a fan of that song on the terraces -
I suppose in recent times we have been so spoiled with success that we havent really needed it

Exactly. I remember joining in with my dad singing that when I was a nipper.

For some reason I associate that song with 2 things. Man Utd and Steve Bruce.

I have a totally shite memory, but it's telling me the song was great until Villa knocked us out of a cup once, and in the last few minutes they gave us the loudest version I've ever heard as a piss-take, the cnuts. Well, fair play to them, I must admit to a half-smile even as I shook my head. Might be my imagination but our singing of it tailed off after that.

Aside from that bollocks, it's my favourite film of all time.

Can’t you all see it was a cunning plan by Fergie, he knew Sunderland were going to beat City and we do much better sat on the shoulder of the pace setter going into January.

Plus he wanted to give his mate Steve Kean a break.

So chillax, it’s all in hand.

Yup, i have convinced myself.
