His goal record for Juve is Welbeckesque to say the least but everytime I have seen him play he has impressed me. What do you guys make of him - can he become one of the best forwards in the world? I would prefer us to go for this kid than Harry Kane even though the gulf in goals scored is very one sided in Kane's favour.

He has been very good for Juve is what I heard from other juventus fans. Partners tevez well. What were Madrid thinking selling a talented academy player and replacing him with Hernandez? But saying that though, morata at the moment is much more suited to a team like Juve than Madrid and will improve further. Does Madrid have a buy back clause?

From what I have read they do have a buy-back clause but he isn't interested in returning. Morata seems exactly the sort of striker I see LVG preferring, he is very technically gifted, intelligent and a quality passer.

Great targetman too. Completely agree he's exactly the kind of striker we should be looking for in this system.

30 mil € to get him back, and by the way, he got few minutes last season and he simply sucked. Jese was the star of the show before his injury, but now he looks shit.
Jese will be loaned next season and we'll read comments like these again.
Morata wanted to play, Chica had no problem sitting on the bench, and 10 million to Juve for player development is not too expensive, but looks like the player doesn't want to go back to Madrid and I'm happy about it. Don't want.

Fair enough. It's always easy in hindsight, and morata might bomb completely. Read the same about him not wanting to come back. It's better for him, if he doesn't come back so soon. I'd like him as a support striker, and hope for further development.

He knows he'll play second fiddle if he comes back now. No need, he is developing well, his touch is much better and he doesn't look nervous on the pitch and so eager to prove himself. He looks good and there is a big chance he'll never come back.
It's so much harder to make it in Madrid, why go through that again..

Those two goals in a champions league semi final has already paid for his transfer fee.

Aren't there two other threads on him already, I remember posting in one after the Holland vs. Spain match? But maybe it was in the transfer forum. Anyway he's going to be an excellent player.

He's an extremely talented player, his 2 biggest flaws though are his finishing and decision making in the final third. A lot of times there might be a fairly straight forward pass to a team mate to put him through on goal but Morata will go solo and mess it up.

He misses very easy chances as well, today he could have had a hat-trick has he have been even 20% as clinical as Tevez would have been in the same situations.

He has everything in his locker to be a great striker and i'm sure he will improve on those weaknesses the more game time he gets. If he ends up staying with us 22 million is a bargain. Like someone above said his 2 goals in the SF paid off his transfer fee already.

People running onto the pitch who are not players makes we wince

Gotta feel for the guy tbh. Imagine celebrating a semi final win and then that happening to you.

For some reason whenever people outside of footballers step on the pitch they keep slipping like penguins on ice. Everytime theres a pitch invader people are bound to get slipped I swear. Even adults seem to lose control over their limbs.
