Alt. Shows To Watch Cos' Of The Writers' Strike

Since the Writers' strike has taken away most of my usual entertainment offerings, I've been downloading a whole bunch of shows that I normally wouldn't have had the time to bother with.

So far, I've been through the entire seasons of Weeds and Big Love and am starting on Pushing Daisies soon. Any other recommendations? Looking for UK stuff as I think I've exhausted most US shows.

(PS If you havn't watched Weeds yet, GO WATCH IT!)
 
I've been meaning to get in to weeds, people keep telling me it is brilliant.

Pushing daisies is brilliant, completely ridiculous Fun but brilliant nonetheless.

If you don't mind no brainer tv then Chuck is a good watch, Jericho is also good. Dexter is great if you haven't been watching that get on it.

Oh and Lost starts up on sunday :D

Ooooh great! Thanks for the recommendations.

Weeds is like.... desperate housewives meets sex and the city + marijuana x 1 million kinds of awesome. It has some of the best dialogue ever!
 
I've been going through a couple of series I haven't seen

South Park started on the 9. series
Kenny vs. Spenny
Flights of the conchords
am starting on Prison break now, am on the last episodes of the first season
Never mind the buzzcocks

I'm about to check out carpoolers now.

The Wire, is far better than all other mentioned that said I am a fan or both Weeds and especially Big Love
 
Rome is more than worth a watch if you havent seen it either

They are idiots but damn it Kenny is funny. Very immature jokes and childish humor but sometimes you need those, can't all be highbrow stuff.

I've seen every episode of Weeds too..
Loved the first season, but after that it took a huge dive..
Really became one dimensional and predictable.
