Bowling wins test matches, with superior bowling attack spearheaded by Wasim,Hadlee and Ambrose,3 premium strike bowler I got better chance to win this 3 match series.

Batting opens with G.Boycott/M.Slater(combination of Superior technique and cool batting)we are good enough to see through the new ball.

R.Dravid(The Wall) - Plays the specialist position No.3,arguably there is no better batsmen than R.Dravid to play the role perfectly.

Ian Chappell/C.Lloyd/G.Thrope -All three very good batsmen of spin bowling and their records speak for themselves.

LMO-(Q D Kock /R.Hadlee /W.Akram) Arguably best LMO batting line in the draft, who can bat till No.9,never to forget Wasim got his double ton batting at No.9.

Spin Duo-(Saqlain Mushtaq & N.Lyon) Tricky customers who can bowl with at most accuracy at any kind of Wicket.

With C.Lloyd as Captain, who can steer this team to victory

Honestly I doesn’t want to change him but yeah it’s draft and spin pitch.
The quality difference is stark enough that I don't think that's an improvement. Bit concerned about your lack of bowling options on the flat pitch. The quality of your attack is great but that's a lot of workload on Ambrose, Akram and Hadlee.

Considering those shot run up from Akram and Hadlee which obviously would consume lot less energy and long spell.Above all this three are strike bowlers who are more accurate with the line and length plus Saqlain that’s good as it gets.Flat pitches give equal opportunity to both bowlers and batsmen’s.
So bowlers have fair chances at the flat wkts.

I punched my screen looking at the change also but I think it makes sense. Hadlee and Akram are enough as pacers on that pitch. A second spinner would get more joy.

And you can always bank on a Chappell to bowl underarm at the very least

Akshay is right though, Mani doesn't have any support whatsoever for his 4 bowlers. Need at least a legit 5th bowler.
Akram/Ambrose/Hadlee and Saqlain not enough ?:p

Agree with this, bowlers the calibre of Ambrose are all conditions bowlers and would offer the same or even more as Lyon on a spinning track and Saqlain would be enough on a spinning track.

No doubt they are great but you do need a good supporting cast in tests. Most teams in the drafts field all rounders are legit bowlers and not part timers and they are the 5th or 6th option. I have Kallis and Steve Waugh for that, for example. It also matters if one of your main bowlers are having a bad game. More options basically and at least 5 proper ones are needed in my opinion.
