All ticket/travel information thread - 2024/25 edition - Ticket Purchasing FAQ in OP. Please read it and be careful purchasing tickets

Alright, I missed the Liverpool ticket release yesterday due to work, been checking every day for the last 2 weeks since the ballot closed aswell, I know its a long shot but if there is any chance of a pair or 2 close together could someone get in touch with me, coming down from Glasgow but never had a problem before getting tickets until this time, guess thats what happens when cr7 is back in town, appreciate any help!

You've never had a problem getting tickets for the Liverpool game before?!

Chill out mate, last thing to cross my mind was to check forum’s, as i said, I’ve never had a problem before

How rubbish is the ticket website is this season! Putting the exec tickets in with normal tickets so every day I get my hopes up! Only to be hit with £150 tickets only!

Chill out mate
The other guy was getting a little shirty, but I was just genuinely surprised you mentioned you've not had a problem with Liverpool tickets before.
Season tickets holders aside, those are the gold tickets and hard to get, so was just intrigued how you've done it before?

But i now understand you meant Liverpool in the past, as in a single time, not every time.

I wasn't getting "shirty".

Just commenting that a brand new member joins up and the 1st thing they post is a request for, not 1, but 2 tickets for the biggest game of the season.

Help a fellow red out mate, let him have one of yours
If I had spares Rob, you would get them no problem. But some random bloke off a forum that I've never met before? No chance.

Alright bud, take it easy, I don't want any trouble :wenger:

Suggestion for first question and answer on the FAQs below.

Q: Is it worth signing up to the forum and asking for a big game home ticket or away game immedietely?
A: No.

I'd had a few "requests" via PM for big games, my usual response is that I do actually have family and real mates who would bite my fecking arm off for a Liverpool ticket.

I guess you shouldn't blame people for trying, but you can't help but get an instant "get to feck" reaction to someone signing up just to make a first post in the hope some Billy no mates is just hanging on to a pair of Liverpool tickets cause he can't find anyone to get rid of them to. Either way, for any ticket, but especially for the big games, you shouldn't trust a complete newbie, this year more than ever there's a huge chance of a tout signing up and trying to grab your digital ticket and flog it on for 10 times the price.

The amount of newbies that have signed up on here to request a ticket since Ronaldo signed is crazy. But the ones asking for City / Liverpool /aways are just on a different level .

Yet strangely my Atalanta single remains unsold.

City ballot results starting to come through, saw a card transaction go through about 30 mins ago and checked the website and they're in my account! One of the lucky ones this time around.

2 different posts looking for Atalanta tickets in previous page , one is looking for a single

You often see people asking for tickets, yet there's an offer of one on the same page!
It's like they need to be specifically offered it!

No idea how long they take to complete, but as your post was an hour ago, and they're neither in my account or any money taken, I have done the double chubbing for Liverpool and City. Inevitable really, and not a disaster in fairness.

Does anyone have any idea how long the season ticket waiting list is at the moment? Been on it for 7 years and just wondering whether I need to put a deposit down to be in with a realistic chance of getting one.

Just had the chubbing email for City.

Still got one spare for Atalanta. W3102 £45.

100% I’ve been on the forum for over a decade but barely posted and as such, I wouldn’t expect anyone to pick me over somebody else who’s been a consistent contributor to this forum for a lengthy period of time. It’s a community after all and that community is well aware that touts and new members are joining to try and seek tickets after Covid / Ronaldo spiked demand.

However, I did ask about tickets for a couple of matches and got treated more than fairly despite my non posting - even offered tickets under face value and a heads up about availability which was not expected or earned. So you can’t ask for more than that! Just join in and contribute and the community will reward that in time I’d imagine.

Chubbed for City. At least the email came earlier than the Liverpool one this time to stave off my false hopes!

7 years? I phoned the ticket office a couple of years ago just to enquire about going on the waiting list and was offered a pair in the East Stand straight away.

You're joking! So after all these years of waiting after signing up online, all I might of needed to do is ring up?? Typical haha cheers for the heads up mate.

You just ring them up mate , ignore that waiting list nonsense

2 tickets needed to Atalanta please. Hotel booked and everything plus it’s my 50th birthday trip. Don’t leave me watching it in a pub. Message me I’ll have them off you!

Travelling up for the Liverpool game next weekend but can't really find a way to get back down south (Oxford area), does anyone know of any other options than coach/train? Any local supporters clubs or carpools?

Question, if I loan a couple of tickets from a ST holder, how would those be transferred? Would I have to fly to UK and hope this kind person turns up for a physical exchange?

Everything's done online now. So if you have a membership, get him/her to transfer the tickets to your membership number.

I think you can register for free but there’s a £5 charge to transfer the ticket to a non-paying member. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong
I’ve transferred my ST ticket to a ‘free’ member this season and not had to pay anything, same when my son transferred his.
You get taken to the checkout during the whole process with the cost of the ticket showing and the same cost then deducted and the total comes up as £0.00.
