ARNHEM - Alexander Büttner trades Vitesse for Manchester United.
The deal between the two clubs, according to sources close to the club and the player around. Both parties give no response. Büttner must still undergo a medical examination at the club from Manchester. Which would take place Monday already. Vitesse was Friday miljoenenbod of club Manchester United on the 23-year-old Does Inch Bucket and had to decide this weekend. Büttner has already agreed with his 'dream club'. He will be teammate of fellow countryman Robin van Persie, who moved from Arsenal for the Mancunians . Earlier Büttner seemed to go to Southampton, but that deal fell through because of a dispute over an additional commission. Of this, the deal with Manchester no question

Der Gelderlander

Never seen him play. Thoughts, Eridivise watchers?

 Couldn't find anything remotely resembling a compilation. This is the best Youtube could muster:

OMG he is too shit to have a YouTube video, this is not how muppetry is supposed to work.

fm says hes shit at jumping :\

So he's the one Fergie was talking about when he said if this player was available, he'll go for him?

Is he left or right footed by the way? I'm just glad he's primarily a LB if we get him, and not overpay for Baines

Naa. Looks like he's been available all summer and for whatever reasons other deals were sealed. Maybe - if we're signing him - we've suggested he sits tight until we do other things in the squad?

Definitely left footed.

Hopefully he's good enough to replace Evra when he quits. Only 23 years old.

We have a couple of lads on here who watch a lot of Dutch football.

Who is he? Is it a clever signing?

If it is purely back up for Evra. I am guessing maybe it is a better idea than signing someone established. I still think Evra can regain his form

Büttner, once passes medical, will sign a 5y contract. International level: not yet capped but is in LVG thinking. Willems: incumbent. #MUFC

Was good enough to be named in the dutch preliminary squad. I doubt he was the one Fergie was talking about being made available. I mean Vitesse arent exactly a powerhouse how would they hold onto players the likes of United would be after?

He is built like a tank isnt he, looks hard to knock off the ball

Voetbal International on Twitter have said that it's official and they got confirmation from the player itself. So, has anyone seen him play?

Reading the dutch ajax forums, because they were recently linked with him as well. Their fans didn't want him and are now shocked that a couple of days later he's off to us. "If this is true, I'm going to get my boots out of the closet again. Who knows."... And more of this type of 'jokes' being made there.

Sounds like a cheap punt at buying cover for left back.

Atleast it isn't an expensive punt like Baines.

Hah. Strange reaction..
A full back out of nowhere.. Not a big name.
QPR and Southampton were after him..
I've never seen him play.. If its true, hope he is brilliant.. but I wouldnt be surprised if it was a cheap gamble.

Southampton are after Gaston Ramirez whats your point? You can't judge a player by who is after him all the time.
