For those who don’t know or haven’t heard of him this kid is such a terrific prospect.
 
Considering this was Alvarez price range and we could have done with another striker I am surprised we weren't interested

Why on Earth does he want to go to Spurs then? Lord knows if he’s a success he won’t be allowed to move anywhere…

Well he's young enough that he could just not sign a new deal as long as he's negotiated decent wages up front. He'd be on a free at what, 25ish?

I was surprised by Spurs I’d imagine high wages, London and the chance to work with Kane (if he stays a season).

Veliz is good enough to be Spurs striker next season if he continues developing at this rate.
