Alan Smith

love smith, hard nosed tackler who never gives up in pursuit, never backs away from a tackle.
but a serious question. how do u see him fitting in with the current first team? who's game will he take, scholes? carrick? will he be a back up for them? or will he be reconverted to an attacker?

just questions for you, not statements, no cheekness involved, i just want to know how other united fans see it.

Why isn't he back yet...i'm getting worried. We're gonna need him for the title run-in. Great player.

He's not injured. He's been fit for the last month or so. As Judge2nd states even though he puts his heart on his sleeve for every match theres no place for him at the moment. If you look on manutd.com he's been playing a couple of reserves lately. Where would he fit in with this new team?

when he is in-form he is better than Saha for sure....

I'd much rather have him on the bench than Fletcher, O'Shea or Richardson.

It'd be great to have an in-form Alan Smith back but he's been out for SO long its going to take time for him to get back the way he was and we don't really have that time anymore as we enter the most important periods of the season.
