He's at it again... The other two commentators singing our praise. As soon as he takes over the commenty; "the referees favour United at Old Trafford...".

Time for some objectivity I think.Undoubtedly,Man Utd were easily the better side playing some fine attacking moves at times.Thoroughly deserved their win and, arguably, could have been by a wider margin had RVN not been quite so profligate.
However,I watched the match and Defoe was clearly played onside and the goal should have stood(confirmed by the replay and by the SKY Sports commentators).I also think Defoe, anywhere else, would have earned a penalty when clattered into by Neville (the uglier one,if that's possible)early in the first half ,but as they say,you sometimes get them, you sometimes don't.
Anyway, all academic, but at least Green was right to say that the decisions (as is often the case at OT) in those 2 respects anyway, were clearly favouring the home side.
Did it make any difference ? I doubt it,the margin of performance between you and the Happy Hammers was quite obvious (I do fear for their survival and Roeder needs some luck if he is to avoid the chop)...........but you never know.....goals change games...don't they

Green is running a debate about his team on 5 Live. 90% of the Scousers seem to want Houllier out. Unanimous agreement that Biscan and Scmitser are crap.
Davo? Softlad?
