Just watched "The Untouchables" for the first time. What a fantastic film. I'd definetly recommend it if you haven't seen it.

I've known this for years, rumor has it that a sequel is in the works

watched it in history class last year, cant remember much, doesnt something blow up at the start?

Damn, I wish I had your history teacher when I was at school!

Classic Costner, brilliant film

Alex, the sequel is actually to be a prequel, though supposedly it's on the rocks after Nicolas Cage had to pull out from the role of Al Capone. Has already lost its original director, I wouldn't build up much hope for it

Ya never no it's got huge potential so someone will probably do it sooner or later

watched it in a history class as well. was good.

Connery. What a legend -he plays an Irishmen, yet makes no effort to alter his Scottish accent whatsoever.

Indeed it does.

Really class film, with one of the best scenes I've seen in a film towards the end.

you either mean the gunfight on the stairs or the courtroom scenes, in both cases it was great, class film (though i fecking hate costner) and excellent performance by garcia, deniro and connery

The gun fight on the stairs with the pram and baby - tension and suspense!!

It felt wierd watching Garcia as a good guy.

Totally shit of a film - seriously!

See the original Untouchable the TV series starring Robert Stack upon which the film is based/ homage to.

Raw, basic and believable. Honest and truthful characters unlike the film.

The only decent film Brian de Palma ever made was Carlito's Way. The rest are average at best.

The whole scene is a copy from a Russian classic "Battleship Potemkin".

Connery. What a legend -he plays an Irishmen, yet makes no effort to alter his Scottish accent whatsoever.

He does this in nearly every film.

In the Highlander films he plays a Spaniard with a Scottish accent.

In The hunt for Red October he plays a Russian with a Scottish accent.

In Robin Hood Prince of thieves he plays King Richard of England with a Scottish accent.

in the Rock he plays an Englishman with a Scottish accent.

The list goes on and on. Bloody brilliant actor though.

I suppose that when you are a legend like him you do what you want anyways.
