Mido, Van Der Varrt, Van Der Mayder, Chivu and Zlatan. Who do you like?

I think United should try to sign a few of them. I think they'd all fit in well.

chivu and van der vaart will be a GREAT addition to our team..

saw var der vaart play a few times..damn he's soOOO skillful..
 
Van de Vaart is indeed very very skillful...one off the biggest talents Ajax produced for a very long time!!
 
Mido's playing like a trojan for Celta Vigo. Pity about his ego however.
 
Chivu & Van der Vaart would be excellent but I think they will go to Real Madrid and AC Milan respectively. VDV has a big thing about following in Van Basten's footsteps. Van der Meyde could be an interesting option IMO. He can play wide left, wide right & upfront providing cover for Giggs & Beckham which he desperately need. Good squad player at right price
 
If we got Chivu our defence would be defebetly sorted for many years to come. And if we got Van Der Vaart our midfield would be unstoppable, but I´d rather go for Quaresma as a winger backup is what we really need. But if Van Der Vaart came I wouldn´t mind it. ;)

Zlatan is good but he is not the man for United I think:
-he's selfish
-he has a bad attitude
-his style is the same as ruuds (only ruud is better! but zlatan has better technique)
 
The only one that could make an immediate impact for United is Chivu, he's a quality defender. VDV in another year will be ready for a bigger club, he's a good little player but he's always getting injured unfortunately.

The others mentioned are not ready for United, though Zlatan could get to that level. Mido would do well in the PL for a Spurs or Aston Villa, hes a real handful, very good in the air, and quite skillful for his size. Van Der Mayder is the same quality bracket as Mido. Trabelsi the tunisian is a good attacking RB but defensively he rambles.
 
All these players are either not United quality, or are moving somewhere else. We are most likely to get:

Keeper: (if Barthez goes)
Rustu (free transfer?)

Defense (left,center)
Escude (free transfer)

Midfield (right,left)
Quaresma (5-7 mil)

Forward:
Bellion (free transfer)
 
Van de Vaart is a great addition and investment too at the tender age of 20. He is already playing for the national team and his versatility to play anywhere at midfield is an asset to back-up injured/underperforming players. Chivu will be a luxury since we already have lot of choices at the back. I'm less convinced that the rest are ready to compete at the EPL level

Robinson over Rustu any day. No need for Escude when we have two of the best left-backs out there - better off stepping up our search for a right-back. If Bellion came Ole would become right-wing cover therefore no need for Quaresma. Although he sounds a great prospect, so why not. Swap Defoe for Bellion by the way.

I wasnt stating he wasnt better, fact is I said no to Mido because I dont really rate him and I really cant stand Zlatan plus he has I crap attitude, hence I want neither! :D

Chivu and van der Vaart might be something for you this year of next.
The other youngsters like Pienaar, Sneijder, de Jong, van Damme, need some more time, and time will show if they really have potential to be good enough for the European top.

Witschge, Heitinga, Seedorf (younger brother), Stekelenburg, Timmer, Sikora, Boukhari, Snijder and De jong.

Witschge has no future at Ajaks.
Heitinga is severely injured.
Seedorf hardly ever plays in the first team.
Stekelenburg is the third keeper, rarely plays a game.
Timmer has only been rented for one year and will leave Ajaks in a few weeks.
Sikora was injured a lot this season, didn't add anything.
Boukhari is a typical Dutch name of course.
Sneijder will leave Ajaks in a few years. He's quite okay. But he hasn't played a lot of games either.
De Jong, mainly plays in the second team. So doesn't count either.

PSV, correct me if Im wrong but the question was "if vd vaart and vd meijde leave do they have any dutch players left". I think my answer was spot on... ;)

BTW, isnt Boukahri eligible to play for Holland?
