Saw this daft old movie on the Comedy Channel a few weeks back. Haven't seen it in years and despite it being 28 years old, still found it piss-funny.
The Captain of the plane asking the little boy who comes to see the cock-pit questions such as 'do you ever hang around men's locker rooms?' and 'have you ever spent time in a Turkish prison?'.
You probably couldn't get away with that these days......

I always think after all these years, and countless parody movies, that Airplane would have gotten old but it hasn't. One of the funniest movies I've seen. And I've yet to meet a single person who hasn't liked it.

I love these films, Leslie Nielson is a legend. The naked gun films are even better!

Dont want to sound like a nerd, but his comedic timing & seriousness is what makes Leslie Nielsen a comic genius :D

I remember seeing a video on youtube where Nielsen was in a fight scene from an old movie, and it was the most bizarre thing I had ever seen as it was supposed to be an entirely serious film. Anyone know what that film was by the way? I'm pretty sure the fight took place aboard a ship or something if I remember rightly

He was in the Poseidon Adventure, that could be what you're thinking of.

The bit in Airplane 2 with the guy speaking jive, and the subtitles...

In the opening of Naked gun there's a fight scene on a boat. But that's obviously not what you're looking for.
